Everyone knows that work is lame. Even if you're an actor! Sometimes all the fame and money that come with a big role don't seem worth enduring a cruel director or a miserable film set. We've already spotlighted a few times where one scene nearly caused an actor to walk away, but it's apparently a lot more common than you'd think. We explored some maddening moments that drove actors crazy in our earlier video, Scenes That Almost Caused The Actors To Quit (see link above!). Well, we're now back with more scenes that almost pushed actors right over the edge...

18 BEAUTIFUL PHOTOS OF SHELLEY DUVALL FROM THE 1970SHD
A Collection of 18 Beautiful Photos of Shelley Duvall from the 1970s:
Shelley Duvall is the unique beauty who dazzles both in front of and behind the camera. Getting her start in Robert Altman?s iconic seventies films - which include Brewster McCloud, Nashville and 3 Women - Shelley picked up a Cannes Film Festival gong as well as a BAFTA.
By the late 1970s, Duvall was a respected and well-known Hollywood actress. In 1979, she reconnected with Altman again for the live-action version of Popeye. The film, which starred Robin Williams as the title character and Duvall as his beloved Olive Oyl, was one that Duvall was at first hesitant to embrace, because she has been teased as an Olive Oyl look-alike while growing up. Eventually, though, Duvall changed her mind and her performance helped solidify the film's success.
In 1980 Duvall took on the role of the bumbling and innocent Wendy Torrance in Stanley Kubrick's The Shining, starring Jack Nicholson. Working under Kubrick, Duvall later recalled, was the most challenging and rewarding experience of her acting life.
Here, we gathered 18 beautiful portraits of Shelley Duvall from the 1970s.

I was born a freckled child in a land far away during a much simpler time. I did well in school until it counted. As a freshman in high school I had dreams of going to Notre Dame and becoming a lawyer. By the time I was sophomore I was taking shop class and was considering getting into construction. I ended up working in warehousing and unloading trucks. Other than stand up, that job was the most fun I ever had.
I am now a stand up comedian. I do a couple hundred shows a year. And I enjoy the travel. I?ve done four hour-long stand-up specials: ?Why Do I Do This?, ?Let It Go?, ?You People Are All The Same? and ?I?m Sorry You Feel That Way.? I host a podcast each week called The Monday Morning Podcast. And I have an animated series on Netflix called: ?F? Is For Family.? Occasionally I act in movies but only when they let...

On overhearing Popeye's (Robin Williams) affection for her, Olive Oyl (Shelley Duvall) breaks into the song, "He Needs Me."
Based on the long-running comic strip created by E.C. Segar (and less on the animated cartoons created by Max Fleischer, which were decidedly different in tone and approach), Popeye follows the sailor man with the mighty arms (played by Robin Williams in his first major film role) as he arrives in the seaside community of Sweethaven in search of his long-lost father. Popeye meets and quickly falls for the slender Olive Oyl (Shelley Duvall, in the role she was born to play), but Olive's hand has already been promised to the hulking Bluto (Paul Smith), of whom Olive can say little except, well, he's large. Eventually, Popeye and Olive are brought together by Swee' Pea (Wesley Ivan Hurt), an adorable foundling, and Popeye finally meets his dad, Poopdeck Pappy (Ray Walston). Director Robert Altman in no way tempered his trademark style for this big-budget family opus, crowding the screen with a variety of characters...
